More than fifty collective film labs all over the world are concerned with film in the sense of working with film material. Every one of these labs has a different genesis and presents a different kind of existence; they are embedded in different social situations. In spite of all of their differences, they are connected by a heterogeneous network of artist-run film labs, which is the territory where one can create films in the age of digital dusk.
